Another final class

Last week, the 21st, was our final class. I’d had to cancel the previous week do to illness, but both students said they would like a make up.

As the minutes ticked down to 6 PM, I was worried they wouldn't show up. But both students arrived together at 5:58! One had to leave after the break, but the one-on-one time with the other student was nice.

They were not particularly interested in my rocks and fossils. Most students really like handling and drawing them. Our lesson on colored pencils went well. I shared a new technique, sgraffito. I'd been playing around with it in my own sketchbook before class started, so I thought why not.

Both thanked me and said they had fun.

A good class, but I'm glad this session is over: I’m ready for a break. Small class sizes and Monday evenings are not for me. Oh well, always learning!
