Nature Makes a Baby

A small watercolor based on a medieval image of Nature forming a baby on an anvil. I like the different symbolic aspects: how much work mothers do, the baby as a symbol for creativity or industry.

I love the metallic gold watercolor so much. Finetec. They’re an awesome based layer, a beautiful top layer……. I should start painting suits of armor.
